Carry-on insurance
Packing-day page. If every box is ticked, a lost bag is an inconvenience instead of a crisis. Tape it inside your suitcase lid if you have to.
- One full change of clothes in the carry-on
- Medications and glasses ride with you, never checked
- Chargers and adapters in the carry-on
- Anything irreplaceable ~ documents, keys, the good camera ~ with you
- A photo of your packed suitcase contents on your phone
- A photo of the suitcase itself, outside and open
- Name and phone number INSIDE the bag, not just the tag
- An airtag or tracker if you own one, buried deep
- Valuables out of the checked bag, no exceptions
- Toiletries mini-set in the carry-on
- The bag tag receipt photographed at the counter

Questions
Will this get my bag back faster?
No printable can hurry an airline ~ but the first-hour page makes sure you do everything that actually helps, in order, with the reference numbers written down. That is the part travelers usually fumble.
Is this useful if my bag is only delayed, not lost?
Yes ~ delayed is the most common ending, and the same first-hour steps apply. The lament cards work at any severity level.
What about compensation rules?
Rules differ by airline, route, and country, so the kit does not promise any ~ it prompts you to ask the desk what applies and write down the answer while it is fresh.
